We are looking for a warehouse worker who is ready to be part of our warehouse team.
This position is full time and reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
As a Warehouse Worker at Martin & Pleasance, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations. You will be responsible for various warehouse tasks, including but not limited to:
Receive, store, and dispatch inventory in line with company procedures
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
Move goods between warehouse locations using pallets and forklift
Restack and reconfigure pallets when required (manual handling / heavy lifting up to 25kg involved)
Clean and maintain all warehouse areas and equipment
Promote and maintain a safe workplace at all times
Complete all warehouse activities in accordance with Martin & Pleasance Quality Procedures, Work Instructions, and TGA Code of Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP)
Ensure accuracy of delivery dockets and all company documentation
Participate in required training and complete competency signoffs within expected timeframes
Work collaboratively with Production, Packing, QA/QC, and Warehouse teams to meet production schedules
Communicate effectively with freight providers and internal stakeholders
Support team members and contribute to a positive team environment
Picking raw material and packaging orders accurately and efficiently
Experience and Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
Previous warehouse experience is required.
Current forklift licence (or willingness to complete training).
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
Basic computer skills required including Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Flexibility to work occasional overtime.
