KeyBuild Services is a growing commercial construction subcontractor delivering carpentry, modular buildings, metalwork, civil works, hoardings, FF&E and more to Australia's leading Tier 1 head contractors.

We're looking for a Production Estimator to join our estimating team in Loganholme. If you thrive on variety, enjoy working across multiple trades, and want to see your estimates directly shape commercial outcomes on major projects — this is your role.

• Price a diverse range of commercial construction packages — from modular installations and site establishments to carpentry, metalwork, cladding, and civil works.

• Perform accurate quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings using Cubit, Bluebeam, or similar tools.

• Engage daily with suppliers, subcontractors, and Tier 1 clients via phone, email, and in person — sourcing pricing, clarifying scope, and following up on quotes.

• Compile and submit competitive tenders, including clarifications, exclusions, and pricing assumptions.

• Manage multiple live tenders concurrently and meet strict submission deadlines.

• 2+ years' experience in a dedicated estimating role within Australian commercial construction — not project management or site engineering with incidental estimating.

• Excellent verbal, written, and phone communication skills — this is non-negotiable. You'll be on the phone with suppliers and clients every day, and you need to be confident, clear, and professional.

• Strong ability to read and interpret drawings and perform accurate take-offs.

• Experience with Cubit is highly regarded; CostX, PlanSwift, or similar is beneficial.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365. Experience with ACONEX, Procore, EstimateOne, or similar platforms is a plus.

• Sound understanding of construction methods across multiple trades.

You must be based in South East Queensland or willing to relocate at your own expense prior to commencement. This is an office-based role at our Loganholme headquarters — remote or interstate arrangements are not available.
