We are a busy optometry practice looking for a reliable and friendly Optical Dispenser to join our team. Hours are negotiable but would suit school hours and total 15-20 hours a week. The ideal candidate will have a passion for exceptional customer service and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting patients and answering their inquiries in person, over the phone and via email

• Scheduling appointments and managing patient records

• Performing pre-testing tasks and conducting initial screening assessments

• Assisting patients in choosing eyewear and lenses

• Maintaining a clean and organised reception area

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in an optometry office is essential

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Proficient in computer skills and comfortable using office software

• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills

• Ability to work well in a team environment

• A positive and professional attitude

• Australian work rights required
