Overview

Join WSP’s Power & Energy Group on a second‑year role in our client project office.

Work on infrastructure projects such as wastewater treatment plant upgrades, new plant development, wastewater network renewal, and reservoir renewal.

What You’ll Be Working On
  • Concept and detailed electrical design drafting across projects.
  • Wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs).
  • Water and wastewater pumping stations.
  • Wastewater network renewal.
  • Reservoir renewal and improvements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare engineering drawings from sketches, calculations, and specifications.
  • Support the electrical design team in developing project designs.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure cohesive design integration.
  • Manage project setup and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Analyse client requirements to ensure all specifications are captured.
About You
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering or above.
  • Experience in a consulting environment (highly regarded).
  • Strong drafting and detailing skills.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD (12D experience is a plus).
  • Experience in transmission secondary design and water infrastructure.
  • Skilled in interpreting engineering designs and producing layouts, schematics, and general arrangements.
  • MicroStation experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
