About Us

White Box is building a world where anyone who wants a job, can access one. To do this, we're on a mission to mainstream jobs-focused social enterprise.

Everything we do revolves around these 3 priorities. We:

  1. Build large-scale social enterprises from the ground up;

  2. Strengthen existing jobs-focused social enterprises to scale and grow; and

  3. Innovate by leading advocacy and systems change initiatives to grow the sector.

Since we started, we've helped enable over 1000 jobs, incubated four social enterprises, raised $52M in blended finance for job creation projects, and built a powerful coalition of partners across sectors.

The role

We are seeking a proactive, tech-savvy, flexible and highly organised Community Coordinator to support the day-to-day operation, coordination and growth of a new Logan Hub - a multi-purpose community destination connecting people, services, employers, training providers, community groups and social enterprise activity. It is designed to be a welcoming place where people come together to learn, connect, work and access support.

This role is hands-on, varied and practical. You will help make sure Logan Hub is welcoming, well-coordinated, easy to use and professionally managed.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming visitors and supporting sign-in processes.

  • Helping visitors, members, hirers, service providers, community groups, tenants and partners navigate the Hub and connect with relevant rooms, services or programs.

  • Responding to booking, co-working and membership enquiries.

  • Supporting room bookings, event bookings and space-use administration.

  • Assisting with room set-up, AV, basic technology support, booking links and site presentation.

  • Supporting events, workshops, training sessions and community activities.

  • Creating social media, website and promotional content using tools such as Canva and online platforms.

  • Keeping event listings, website information, booking details and online content accurate and up to date.

  • Identifying and reporting maintenance, WHS, technology or operational issues.

  • Supporting the Spaces Manager with operational tasks, reporting, administration and follow-up as required.

The best person for the role will identify with the following:

This is for you if you are practical, confident with technology, a fast learner and able to work independently. The right person does not need extensive experience, but they do need the right mix of skills, initiative, attitude and willingness to learn.

You will be:

  • Friendly, welcoming and professional.

  • Highly organised, reliable and good at following through.

  • Tech-savvy and confident using digital systems, websites, social media and online tools.

  • A fast learner who can pick up new systems, platforms and processes quickly.

  • Able to work independently day to day, while knowing when to ask for guidance or escalate issues.

  • Proactive and able to take initiative without needing constant direction.

  • Practical, flexible, hands-on and calm under pressure.

  • Comfortable juggling different tasks, including bookings, admin, content, events, site issues and customer enquiries.

  • Able to balance great customer service with strong administration, attention to detail and timely follow-up.

  • Reliable and able to attend Logan Hub as required, including occasional evenings or weekends where needed.
