As our organisation continues to grow, we are urgently seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team.
Current OpportunitiesWe are currently recruiting for participants across Logan, Beaudesert, Kingston, Mount Cotton, and surrounding areas.
Shifts available include:
Day shifts
Afternoon shifts
Sleepover shifts
Active Overnight shifts
Weekend shifts
Requirements
Full availability across a 24/7 rotating roster
Ability and willingness to complete sleepover shifts
Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
Smartphone and confidence using digital systems
We are specifically seeking staff with experience supporting participants who present with:
Mental health and psychosocial disabilities
Behaviours of concern
Trauma-related presentations
Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) support needs
Complex support requirements
High-intensity or clinical support needs
The following will be highly regarded:
Enrolled Nurse (EN), Registered Nurse (RN), or Student Nurse
Mental Health Support experience
AOD Support experience
SIL, ILO, and Community Access experience
Manual Handling
Hoist Training
PEG Feeding experience
High Intensity Support Skills
Provide person-centred support tailored to participant goals and needs
Assist with personal care, daily living activities, and medication administration
Support community access, appointments, and social engagement
Promote independence using a strengths-based approach
Implement Behaviour Support Plans and risk management strategies
Build positive relationships with participants, families, and stakeholders
Maintain accurate documentation and shift notes
Follow all policies, procedures, and safety requirements
